The inspiring Edge is collaborating this weekend with the The Serpentine Map Marathon for a show at the Royal Geographical Society in London. It's all about maps and how they change the way we look at the world.
I've seen this before but it's great to feel again the first impact it had on me. It's a mapping of countries onto the African continent called The True Size of Africa by Kai Krause - which gives most people a totally new perspective on the immense size of Africa: larger than the USA, China, India, Japan and Europe combined. More on the topic of maps and Africa later but this is definitely worth passing on right away - click here to see a larger version of the map.
P.S. If you are into strange maps then point your RSS client at Frank Jacob's Strange Maps.
